PRE- BALLET
2.5-3 years
Attend one 30-minute class a Week
Monthly Fancy Nancy Princess Day
The classical ballet curriculum begins the foundation at this level.
Participate in a Parent Preview in November. Perform a Ballet Variation during the end year Production.
DIVISION ONE
4-5 YEARS
Attend one 50-minute class a Week
Monthly Fancy Nancy Princess Day
Combo Class: Classical Ballet/Jazz.
Learn fundamentals of Russian Ballet technique
Learn classical ballet terminology
Ballet etiquette, posture, and poise
American modern jazz will begin at this level
Instruction includes dance combination, timing, and tempo
Students will gain an appreciation for learning to express themselves through the art of dance
Participate in a Parent Preview in November. Perform a Ballet Variation and Jazz Dance during the end year Production.
DIVISION 1 ADVANCED
6 years
Attend one 60-minute class a Week
Monthly Fancy Nancy Princess Day
Combo Class: Classical Ballet/Jazz
Learn fundamentals of Russian Ballet technique and begin learning barre exercises.
Learn classical ballet terminology
Ballet etiquette, posture, and poise
Level 1.5 of American modern jazz
Instruction includes dance combination, timing, and tempo
Students will gain an appreciation for learning to express themselves through the art of dance
Participate in a Parent Preview in November. Perform a ballet variation and jazz dance during the end year of production.
MINI Starlight Dance Co.
Bi-weekly Fridays
Mini's: Division 1 and Division 1 Advanced 4:30pm-5:15pm
Mini Starlight Co. is designed for dancers who have completed one year of Division 1 and any Division 1 A students to shine in the Nutcracker with our Upper Division Students and to be featured in other production opportunities. We are excited to offer this special opportunity to allow our students to share their passion for dance throughout their dance season! Auditions will be held in August.
