Our Mission

Since 2011, Dance Studio 150 has been committed to excellence in classical ballet training, holding dancers to a high standard of discipline, precision, and artistry. 150 is known for producing polished, high-quality performances that reflect both technical integrity and artistic excellence.

We offer Vaganova-based classical ballet, along with other beloved styles of dance, for students ages 2.5 through adult.

Beyond the studio, we’re passionate about giving back. Every other year, we produce an abridged version of The Nutcracker and partner with a nonprofit organization, donating a portion of our proceeds to support their mission. In June, we close out the year with our signature studio-wide production, bringing stories to life onstage and showcasing first hand this beautiful art form.

Lauren-Elaine Hunt-Founder/Owner

Lauren-Elaine Hunt is the founder of Dance Studio 150, established in 2011. With over 20 years of classical ballet training in the Vaganova method and experience across multiple dance disciplines, she has taught throughout Oklahoma and choreographed for advanced students across her career.

She is especially known in the dance community for her whimsical and imaginative ballet classes for young dancers ages 12 months to 6 years, which helped shape the foundation of Dance Studio 150’s early childhood program. Her passion lies in developing ballerinas who grow in both technique and character, carrying discipline and resilience with them far beyond the studio.

In addition to her role leading 150, Lauren-Elaine teaches Evolve & Sculpt, a signature movement format she created that blends PBT, yoga, barre, and HIIT to help individuals move with purpose and strength. She’s wife to Matt and proud momma to Ellie Taylor (12) and Noah (11.)
